Ecolibrium is hiring seasonal farm crew.
Ecolibrium is looking for energetic, hard-working field crew members to join our team of passionate people transforming our food system through regenerative agriculture.
At Ecolibrium we grow diversified vegetables on our 2+ acre, organic farm in Redmon, WA. Our operation includes 40+ fruit trees, ~150 – 100’ permanent vegetable beds, and ~9,000 sqft of greenhouse space. We also have an on-farm outdoor kitchen and community gathering space where we host farm-to-table dinners and events. We are driven by market gardening principles, utilizing human-scaled tactics and keeping a light footprint, as we produce a large quantity of quality produce on small acreage, using ecologically-sound practices.
Working under the leadership of the Farm Manager, the field crew will be involved in all aspects of the operations required to run a farm. This includes bed prep, greenhouse management, planting, cultivation, irrigation and assuring harvest occurs on schedule and to a high standard of quality. Field crew members must be willing and able to work long and irregular hours (40+ at times) during peak season as the needs of the farm dictate the work to be done. Applicants must be available on weekends when necessary, and should not plan extended vacation time during the primary growing season (April 15 – October 15). This is ideally a full-time, temporary position, though with the right experience we will hire for part-time positions (3 days/week minimum). Compensation is $12.50-$15/hour depending on experience. Perks include free produce from the farm and access to Ecolibrium culinary events.
We’re committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds and walks of life to apply.
